Ambassador of Japan in Poland at Dojo – Stara Wies.
On May 24th, 2017 we had honor to host Mr. Shigeo Matsutomi – Ambassador of Japan in Poland, at the Japanese Martial Arts and Sports Centre Dojo – Stara Wies. It was indeed a privilege.
The host of the meeting was Mr. Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski – WTKF President. The meeting was attended by the prominent people – representatives of business and local authorities as well as Traditional Karate-Do representatives: Andrzej Maciejewski – WTKF Vice-president, Pawel Krzywanski – Chairman of Foundation of Traditional Karate Development and the world and European Traditional Karate-Do champions: Katarzyna Krzywanska, Witold Kwiecinski and Pawel Janusz.
The aim of this visit was to maintain the long-term relationship between Poland and Japan as well as to present and discuss the vision of further Traditional Karate-Do development.
There was a special event that drew enormous attention from all the spectators, namely a special Traditional Karate-Do demonstration performed by the youngest athletes, students of Paweł Janusz – repeated world and European champion in kata.
