8th Traditional Karate-do European Cup ORLEN 2018
On behalf of the World Traditional Karate-do Federation we are pleased to announce that the 8th Traditional Karate-do European Cup ORLEN 2018 will be held on May 30 – June 2, 2018 in Gdańsk (Poland). The tournament itself will take place in ERGO Arena Gdańsk (ergoarena.pl/en/).
In the European Cup there will compete 8 top men’s and 8 women’s traditional karate-do athletes selected by the WTKF Technical Committee. The accompanying event will be the 18th Traditional Karate-do Polish Children’s Cup ORLEN 2018.
The events schedule is as follows:

All participating athletes will receive cups and also financial rewards will be given to the European Cup athletes (women and men) from the first three places:

3rd place
350 USD
All participants (athletes and judges) are in charge of accommodation, board and transportation in Poland as well as of transportation to/from Poland.
BOARD AND ACCOMODATION OFFERS
We recommend the special package prepared by the Organizer. The details are as follows:
PACKAGE FOR 2 PEOPLE – 300 Euro. The package includes:
- Accommodation (double room) in Host hotel – Best Western Plus Arkon Park Hotel (4 stars hotel), from May 30 to June 2 (Wednesday – Saturday) – 3 nights
Breakfast included
Address of hotel : 10 Śląska St., 80-384 Gdańsk, - Lunch for 2 people after the Judges’ Course on May 31 (Thursday),
- Lunch for 2 people during the tournament on the sport hall on June 1 (Friday).
PACKAGE FOR 1 PERSON – 250 Euro. The package includes:
- Accommodation (single room) in Host hotel – Best Western Plus Arkon Park Hotel (4 stars hotel), from May 30 to June 2 (Wednesday – Saturday) – 3 nights
Breakfast included
Address of hotel : 10 Śląska St., 80-384 Gdańsk, - Lunch for 1 person after the Judges’ Course on May 31 (Thursday),
- Lunch for 1 person during the tournament on the sport hall on June 1 (Friday).
Please send your recommendations of highly qualified athletes and judges for consideration to be selected for the European Cup. Recommendations (on the enclosed form) shall be sent by e-mail to president@wtkfkarate.org.
Deadline for recommendations: April 20, 2018 (Friday).

Preliminary reservations will be accepted by April 20, 2018 (Friday).
