NEW ERA of International Traditional Karate Federation is proud to announce that the International Summer Camp will be held on August 12th to 17th 2014 in dojo Stara Wies, Poland. The camp will offer participating members to receive personalized instructions from international instructors: WŁODZIMIERZ KWIECIŃSKI Sensei (Poland) 7 Dan, MAHMOUD TABASSI Sensei (USA) 7 Dan, AVI ROKAH Sensei (USA) 7 Dan, MASAKAZU HASHIMOTO Sensei (Japan, Wadokai/Wado-ryu ) 6 Dan, JYUJI IZUMI Sensei (Japan, Shito-ryu) 5 Dan.

The 6^th Traditional Karate European Cup ORLEN 2014 took place on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Japanese Martial Arts and Sports Centre “Dojo-Stara Wies” in Poland. In this great event competed a superb collection of elite traditional karate athletes from 8 countries: Armenia, Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia and Ukraine. 8 top European men’s and 8 women’s traditional karate athletes were selected by the ITKF Technical Committee.

On behalf of the Traditional Karate Federation of Poland (PZKT) we are pleased to announce that the 6th Traditional Karate ITKF European Cup ORLEN 2014 will be held on 12-15 June 2014 in Stara Wieś (Poland) at the Japanese Martial Arts and Sports Centre “Dojo-Stara Wieś”.

In the European Cup there will compete 8 top European men’s and 8 women’s traditional karate athletes selected by the ITKF Technical Committee. During the European Cup ORLEN 2014 we will host the Intercontinental Kumite Cup which will be attended by the Kumite Teams from Brazil, Europe, Japan, USA and Poland (the Host). Teams from the USA and Brazil have already confirmed their attendance.

The events schedule is as follows:
12 June (Thursday) – Arrival (Officials, Judges, Athletes)
13 June (Friday) – The ITKF Refreshing Course
14 June (Saturday) – 6th Traditional Karate ITKF European Cup ORLEN 2014
– Intercontinental Kumite Cup: Brazil – Europe – Japan –USA – Poland
15 June (Sunday) – Departure

The Tournament Host will provide all selected athletes and judges with room and board from supper on 12 June (Thu) until breakfast on 15 June (Sun) 2014. National Federations whose judges and athletes will be selected to participate in the European Cup will be in charge of travel expenses to/from Poland.

All participating athletes and kumite teams will receive cups and also financial rewards will be given to the European Cup athletes (women and men) from the first three places:
1st place – 1.000 USD
2nd place – 650 USD
3rd place – 350 USD

Please send your recommendations of highly qualified athletes and judges for consideration to be selected for the European Cup and recommendations of athletes for the Team Kumite from Europe. Recommendations (on the enclosed form) shall be sent by e-mail to the ITKF office: info@itkfkarate.com and to the PZKT office: pzkt@karate.pl.
