Open European Traditional Karate-Do Club Championships ORLEN 2017 took place on October 20-22, 2017 in Lublin. The tournament was held in conjunction with the 5^th Traditional Karate-Do European Children’s Cup.

In the tournament participated athletes from 11 countries. European Children’s Cup was attended by hundreds of the youngest athletes from Europe.

Krzysztof Zuk, Major of the city of Lublin as well as Slawomir Sosnowski, Marshal of Lubelskie voivodeship took the Honorary Patronage of the event.

In the Open Traditional Karate-Do Championships ORLEN 2017 athletes competed in kata and kumite team women and man, in 3 age categories: cadets (14-15 years old), juniors (16-18 years old) and seniors (aged 18+). In European Children’s Cup the youngest karatekas competed in kata individual, kata team and en-bu.
